Entry Fee: ONE NEW UNWRAPPED TOY for each group or band registration entry and ONE NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEM (or one new unwrapped toy) for each individual participant. Toys and food will be collected at the registration table and each participant may leave their donation of food or unwrapped toy in the containers in front of the Spare Time Car Wash or bring them to the registration area. FLOATS must be in the Carriage Traders/Spare Time parking lot and ready for judging at 11:00am. All float entries must reflect the parade theme – HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS – with a handmade design. Any float that is not being judged should arrive by 12:00 noon. BANDS & MARCHERS should arrive by 12:00 noon and be ready to step off at 1:00 pm. PARADE LINE UP is at Carriage Traders and Spare Time parking lots. Participants must not litter or damage any property; we ask that you are courteous and neat. ABSOLUTELY NO CAR PARKING IN THE SPARE TIME/CARRIAGE TRADERS parking lots. Participants should be dropped off in the Hannaford Supermarket parking lot and walk across the street to the parade site. Crossing guards will be at key spots to help participants cross Route 9. HORSES AND EQUESTRIAN ENTRIES must assemble across the street from the parade line up in the area next to the Hannaford Supermarket parking lot. All horse and equestrian entries must remain in the assembly area until they are called into the parade line up. REMEMBER – there is only one SANTA and he will be at the end of the parade. We don’t want the children to be confused so please refrain from dressing like Santa. All participants take part in the parade at their own risk. Participants are responsible for all members of their group; we are not responsible for children or other participants who do not know where they need to be or who their leader is. Any motor vehicle towing or incorporated in a float must be properly insured and operated by a duly licensed driver; evidence of insurance and licensing must be provided on the parade entry form. Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company Bank reserves the right, in Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company’s sole discretion, to prohibit or terminate participation by any entrant whose entry is deemed unsafe, offensive or otherwise inappropriate.
